MAX SAYS MOVE WAS FUELLED BY FRUSTRATION

MAX VERSTAPPEN has admitted he was wrong to plough into George Russell on Sunday — but failed to apologise for his petulant stunt.

The raging Red Bull racer seemed to deliberately bang wheels with Russell's Mercedes and was slapped with a penalty which dropped him to 10th place.

And afterwards he refused to answer questions about the incident, waving off Russell's criticism by saying: “I'll bring some tissues next time.”

But after sleeping on it, Verstappen could finally admit yesterday that he had been in the wrong.
