NOEL Gallagher's handwritten lyrics for Oasis hit Don't Look Back in Anger have sold at auction for five times more than expected.

It was the first single to feature him on lead vocals instead of brother Liam. Noel's emergence as a singer is often believed to be the changing point in the temperamental brothers' working relationship.

Oasis split in 2009 after a backstage fight between the Gallaghers before a show in Paris, France. They reunited this year for a tour.
