LEEDS returned to pole position in the battle for the Championship title - but Bristol City face a final day shoot-out for the play-offs.

Goals from Ao Tanaka and Willy Gnonto and a brace for substitute Largie Ramazani lifted Leeds back to the top.

The Robins' fate does remain in their own hands, however, as they sit one point ahead of seventh-placed Millwall.

But Liam Manning's side will be well aware their home encounter with Preston on Saturday is no gimme given the Lilywhites are battling for survival. As for Leeds, they travel to doomed Plymouth top of the pile above Burnley on goal difference.
