League legend Horgan passes

LEAGUE of Ireland legend Ollie Horgan passed away yesterday at the age of 57 following a battle with illness.
The former Finn Harps supremo was loved throughout the League for his tireless work for the Donegal club and, more recently, for Galway United, as well as for his unique character that brought colour to the domestic scene.
Horgan (below), who hailed from Salthill in Galway, managed the Donegal club from the end of 2013 until 2022, a stint that included several promotions to the Premier Division.
