'I do miss the farm but I won't go back ...and I'm still trying to get Irish citizenship

Having previously admitted to being an “illegal” resident in this country, Mr Kelley is still in the process of trying to become an Irish citizen.

He said: “That's going to be a long process. It's going to be a while.”

Detectives based at Killarney Garda Station previously detained Mr Kelley for 24 hours, before releasing him without charge on May 19.

In his first interview following that arrest, Mr Kelley told us how officers asked him about a chainsaw that was found on the farm.
