DONALD Trump declared open war on Elon Musk, branding the billionaire "a man who's lost his mind".
It came less than 24 hours after the world's richest man claimed the US president's name appears in the FBI's Jeffrey Epstein files, adding it was why they had not been made public.
Hope of reconciliation between the pair was obliterated yesterday after Mr Musk hinted at a truce, only for Mr Trump to respond with full-scale personal attacks.
The president said: "I'm not even thinking about Elon. He's got a problem. The poor guy's got a problem.
"I won't be speaking to him for a while, I guess, but I wish him well."
