Kilbane says no way back for Ireland boss
HEIMIR Hallgrímsson's "days are numbered" as Ireland boss, says Kevin Kilbane.
The 110-time-capped man believes there is no way back after last month’s defeat away to Armenia and Ireland’s World Cup hopes have been killed off already.
Ireland face Group F leaders Portugal in Lisbon on Saturday and Armenia at the Aviva next Tuesday, knowing a minimum of three points is needed to keep things competitive ahead of November’s final two games.
However, Kilbane is convinced that it’s done and dusted and that Hallgrímsson should pay with his job.
