Funeral plans underway for yacht death Martha

DETAILS of the funeral for the Irish fashion designer who was found dead on a yacht in the US will be announced later this week.

Martha Nolan-O’Slatarra, 33, was discovered dead at the Montauk Yacht Club in East Hampton on Long Island.

This followed a 911 call reporting an ‘unconscious woman’ on board the boat at midnight local time on Tuesday. Despite attempts at CPR by bystanders and first responders, the Carlow native, who was living in New York, was declared dead on the vessel.
