FREDDIE: I'M READY FOR THE BIG TIME

IF Freddie Potts ends up blowing celebration bubbles next season, he knows it will be reward for doing the hard yards first.

The 21-year-old midfielder is West Ham through and through, after his dad Steve played in Claret and Blue for more than 500 games between 1984 and 2001.

Freddie, who made his Hammers debut in December 2021 in the UEFA Conference League, signed a contract this spring that will keep him at the club until 2029.

But he only earned it by being prepared to leave for a football education that has made him grow as a player now ready to handle the Premier League.
