JOIN me, and let's travel back to what feels like a long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away... 2005.

Star Wars: Battlefront 2 (no, not that one) had taken the PS2/Xbox market by storm. A sequel to the 2004 classic, these two games shaped up to be the crowning jewel for the era's stellar legacy.

After a Death Star-sized combo of financial and critical success, fans were resolute that a third game in the franchise was incoming.

And, while we were correct in that assumption, the third entry was tragically cancelled in 2008, for a smattering of reasons.
