FLEETWOOD BETTER PICK THAN MAC

SCOTTIE Scheffler and Rory Mcllroy are 4/1 and 15/2 to win this week's Scottish Open at the Renaissance Club, but their focus is likely to be on the British Open week, so we will look elsewhere for value.

Robert MacIntyre is 33/1 to defend his home open last year, which he won on 18 under par by a shot from Adam Scott.

Among those tied for fourth were Mcllroy, Ludvig Aberg and Collin Morikawa.

The previous year, McIlroy changed from a 4 to a 2-iron and hit a bullet from 205 yards to 11 feet before rolling in the putt for 68 and a 15 under par total to edge out MacIntyre by a shot.
