Feud-linked charges man sent for trial

A MAN charged with a range of alleged organised crime, drugs and money laundering offences in connection with the Drogheda feud has been sent forward for trial.
Dean Thornton, 27, of Moneymore in the Co Louth town, appeared via video link at Drogheda District Court yesterday when the book of evidence was served on his solicitor James Allen.
He has now been formally sent forward to Dundalk Circuit Court to face trial later in the year.
