CONCERN Evan Ferguson picked up an ankle injury
FRESH doubt has been cast on Evan Ferguson's participation in Ireland's World Cup qualifiers against Portugal and Hungary.
Ferguson was included by Heimir Hallgrímsson in his squad for the final two games after he told the Ireland manager that he expected to be fit for Roma's Serie A clash with Udinese yesterday.
However, the Meathman was missing from Gian Piero Gasperini's squad ahead of the 2-0 win.
