Family & garda plea over father-of-three missing since 2023

GARDAI have renewed their appeal to the public for information on a man who disappeared two years ago.

John Keaveney, 43, was last seen between midnight and 12.30am on Monday, August 21, 2023, in the McCurtain Street area of Cork.

The dad-of-three was walking toward Centre Park Road and the Marina area at the time.

Described as 5ft 9ins, of slim build, bald and with brown eyes, John was wearing navy trousers, a grey Umbro hoodie featuring the Irish soccer logo and white runners when he vanished.

Gardai and John’s family have expressed concern for his welfare and are urging anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward.
