Ruaidhri says Rossies can hope to emulate Armagh

FALLO' THE ORCHARD EXAMPLE

RUAIDHRI Fallon says Armagh's big leap last year has made the rest of Division 2 believe they can jump from also-rans to champs.

It was last July when Kieran McGreevy masterminded the biggest shock in Gaelic football since Down landed the 1991 All-Ireland, taking Armagh from Division 2 to the steps of the Hogan Stand.

Nearly one year on, on the eve of another Division 2 final, Roscommon ace Fallon is taking inspiration from the Orchard's success.

And you can see why.

Across the last decade, the Rossies have been Gaelic foot-ball's yo-yo side, winning four Division 2 titles, then suffering four relegations.

Back in another Division 2 final today against Monaghan, they harbour big dreams of another national title.

But not the one you are thinking of.
