CLAYTON McMillan wasn't in the country at the time - but he knows the impact that last season's loss to Edinburgh in Cork had on Munster.

DEFEAT SHOWED REDS NOT EDIN’ THE RIGHT WAY

The Scots arrive back at Virgin Media Park tonight (7.45pm) with only their URC opening-weekend humbling at the hands of Zebre to work off so far this season, after last week's trip to Ulster was postponed thanks to Storm Amy.

Still, Edinburgh have had some happy Musgrave memories to work off this week. Their 38-34 victory in February was Munster’s only defeat at the ground since 2019 - and it brought to an end a five-game winning streak against their opponents.

Edinburgh also won in Cork six years ago and, out of their 10 meetings at the ground, Munster have won seven but lost the last two.
