U2 star 'took off armour' for Surrender doc

BONO admits to removing his emotional armour for documentary Bono: Stories Of Surrender.

"I feel a bit of an imposter, if I'm honest," the U2 frontman said at the Cannes Film Festival.

"I'm here impersonating an actor, but they've let me away with it."

Bono was speaking to promote the feature-length documentary, a recording of his one-man theatrical event inspired by his 2022 book.
