FIFTY-TWO Palestinians from Gaza were yesterday due to start arriving in Ireland as students in education institutions across the country.
Minister for Foreign Affairs Simon Harris made the announcement of the imminent arrival of the group of Palestinians.
The first group of 26 people were expected to arrive yesterday, with the remaining students, who have all been offered scholarships by Irish education institutions, arriving between today and tomorrow.
