IRISH actress Jessie Buckley was the toast of London last night as she won a Bafta for her performance in Hamnet.
Jessie, 36, from Killarney, Co Kerry, has won rave reviews for her portrayal of Shakespeare's wife Agnes Hathaway alongside Co Kildare star Paul Mescal as the Bard.
She said: "I never in a million years thought I would get to make a film.
"When I first arrived in London I told my agent I dreamed to be a little bit like Judi Dench.
