Wilder set for Blades threequel

CHRIS WILDER looks poised for a swift return to Sheffield United after his replacement Ruben Selles was sacked yesterday.

Selles (circle), 42, had only been in the Bramall Lane hot-seat for three months having signed a three-year contract in June.

The Blades have lost all six of their matches this season under the former Hull boss, who has now been axed over their "disappointing start".

The club said in a statement: "Sheffield United Football Club's board of directors have opted to make a change at managerial level.
