Tragic 10-year-old's family ask mourners not to wear black clothes at funeral

A “BEAUTIFUL” and “kind” little girl will soon be laid to rest after the youngster, aged just 10, tragically died last weekend.

Grace Mahon, from Co Wexford, died on Saturday. She is survived by her loving parents Dave and Kara and older brother Noah.

The community has been rocked by the heartbreak of the “wonderful” girl, with dozens of emotional tributes across the county being paid to her, including Shelmalier Ladies Football Club.

As her family prepare for Grace's funeral at St Cyprian’s Church in Screen tomorrow morning, her devastated parents have issued a request for attendees.

“We will celebrate Grace's life in vivid colour, so no black clothes please” reads the request on Grace's death notice on RIP.ie.
