Munster enjoy McMillan’s fresh style

MUNSTER players are embracing the new - and the old - under recently arrived head coach Clayton McMillan.

Hill walking, boxing and swimming were added into the mix during preseason training under the Kiwi boss (inset), who has taken the players out of Cork and Limerick and into the province with connection with supporters part of the bigger picture.

“Hes big on the standards we set off the field in terms of portraying a Munster man and connecting with the public or fans,” said back row Jack O'Donoghue.

“He was amazed at how many people turned up to Rockwell, how many turned up to his open sessions.

“And he really wants to give back to them because, at the end of the day, they're the ones who are coming out to Thomond Park and buying tickets.
