SIX PREM SIDES IN DRAW FOR CL

Liverpool are second favourites behind holders PSG from the 36 sides in the league phase on European football's biggest stage.

THE Premier League will have a record SIX teams in today's Champions League draw.

UEFA are holding their star-studded draw in Monaco at 5pm Irish time.

Liverpool are joined by Manchester City, Arsenal, Newcastle, Chelsea and Europa League winners Tottenham.

The Premier League had gained an extra fifth place through coefficient rankings because English teams fared so well in Europe last season.

And that was further boosted by a sixth spot for Spurs after they beat Manchester United 1-0 in the Europa League final in May, a passport into the Champions League.
