STILIYAN PETROV has hit out at the Celtic board for lacking leadership and leaving fans in the dark.

The Hoops hero reckons the Parkhead club's season is in the balance after becoming outdated and complacent and called on officials to give angry supporters the answers to the burning questions.

Celtic are facing a huge summer of uncertainty with an interim chairman, an interim manager, no director of football or head of recruitment and several players on loan or looking for exits.

Fans are none the wiser and Petrov insisted Parkhead power brokers will need to step up rather than hide in the shadows.
