McVay will be first down to praise Arteta

IF Mikel Arteta ends Arsenal's 22-year wait for a league title next spring, he can expect a call from LA Rams chief Sean McVay.

The Arsenal manager and the Rams head coach have more in common than simply that their ultimate boss is the same man — Stan Kroenke, who is the owner of both clubs.

As McVay heads to Wembley Stadium tomorrow to face the Jacksonville Jaguars, he'll hope he is also on the road to silverware himself, as his side attempts to conquer the NFL.

With four wins and two losses to start the season, the Rams are in a decent position to make a strong run at the playoffs. A win against the Jags, who have also started the campaign 4-2, would be a major boost.
