VIRGIL VAN DIJK has admitted Florian Wirtz is still coming to terms with the pace and physicality of the Premier League.

The £116 million summer signing from Bayer Leverkusen (right) finally got off the mark for Liverpool on Saturday, netting their second goal in the 2-1 win against Wolves.

Van Dijk was one of the first to celebrate with the Germany attacker, 22, and was clearly delighted for a teammate who has struggled to live up to his reputation and price tag.

But the Liverpool skipper said: "He's getting used to playing for Liverpool and what we want to do as a team.
