I don't want Al to keep me going.. I am already artificial, jokes Parton

- TOM BRYANT

I'm a living Doll

DOLLY Parton has laughed off the prospect of AI technology keeping her around forever, saying that she is "artificial" enough already.

The country music legend, famed for her cosmetically enhanced good looks, joked: "I don't want to be artificial. Well, any intelligence I have is artificial... and everything I have is artificial.

Dolly, 77, was asked about living on in artificial form at a press conference in London yesterday to promote her new album, Rockstar.

It came after Abba last year launched a purpose-built stadium in London's Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park featuring hologram versions of the group's younger selves singing and dancing to their hits.

Dolly said: "I think I've left a great body of work behind. I have to decide how much of that high-tech stuff I want to be involved because I don't want to leave my soul here on Earth.
