HUNT FOR 3 MEN AFTER RUGBY FAN 'RAPED'

Irish supporter, 37, abducted and assaulted by gang at WorldCup

POLICE are hunting for three suspects after an Irish fan at the World Cup was abducted and gang raped. 

The shocking attack happened in Bordeaux late on Sunday night. The 37-year-old had attended the Ireland vs Romania game in the city the previous evening.

Local media reports said the three suspects, who are alleged to have abducted the woman from close to her accommodation, were Romanian.

She was taken from outside her apartment building just before midnight on Sunday.

The woman told investigators she was then dragged to a side street where there is no CCTV and attacked.
