Boss says Hoops won't be intimidated

- BY MICHAEL GANNON

BRENDAN RODGERS insists Celtic have Europa League tunnel vision and won't be spooked by Red Star’s infamous atmosphere.

The Hoops kick off their campaign in Belgrade tonight against the Serbian powerhouses in their notorious 50,000-strong Marakana stadium.

Celtic players will make the 100-yard walk through the ominous graffiti covered underpass beneath the ultras section before kickoff.

Rodgers is convinced his men won't be intimidated - and he's told the Hoops to lap it up.

The Irishman said: “Just embrace it. I've heard the walk takes about two minutes. I'll have to speak a bit quicker at halftime!

“It’s just amazing. What an amazing occasion to come and play at a really historic stadium. You go and do what you can. But when it comes your way, you accept it and grow from it.
