Family refuses to talk to me after I shared my secret

I hope you can help me. Three years ago, someone asked me a question: was I sexually abused in my childhood? For the first time, I admitted I had been, from around the age of six to 16, at which point my father left the family home to move away.

Family refuses to talk to me after I shared my secret

Up until this point I had never told anyone except my husband, who at that time was ill with cancer, and he has since passed away.

Once I'd revealed the truth, I was cast aside by my family, including my mum, as they didn't want me to tell people what had happened. They didn't agree with it.

Now, I don't know what to do, as I've found myself on my own, and there are times when I really struggle and wonder why I'm even here. I feel so alone. I only ever went out with my husband or family members - I couldn't go out on my own, as I didn't trust anyone.

I'd be grateful if you could advise me on my next steps on how I can start to live my life.
