US PRESIDENT Donald Trump has threatened to end trade with Spain, citing a lack of support over the US and Israeli attacks on Iran and the European nation’s resistance over increasing its Nato spending.

Speaking in the Oval Office of the White House at a meeting with German chancellor Friedrich Merz yesterday, Trump said: “We're going to cut off all trade with Spain.
“We don't want anything to do with Spain."
