GAA President Jarlath Burns has leapt to the defence of the Association's fixture makers after stinging criticism from Donegal boss Jim McGuinness.

After their weekend win over Mayo at Dr Hyde Park, McGuinness hit out at the decision to fix the game for the Roscommon Town venue and said that Donegal fans were being taken advantage of.
