Trained by Joseph O'Brien, winner of a Curragh maiden on his debut last November before attaining a flat mark of 91, the Lope De Vega gelding will need to jump more fluently than he did when making his jumping bow in Cork but makes plenty of appeal here.

He made a number of mistakes in Cork, including when holding every chance at the final flight, before going down by two and a half lengths to Wizard Of Odds.

Significantly, he had the more experienced Crooked Path - in the field again today - in fourth spot and should confirm that form.
