I RAN into a strange individual over the weekend after stopping into a Cork pub for a quick pint - a Dubliner who loved Beamish stout.

This fella didn’t just love Beamish, he had also actually taken a holy vow to reject St James's Gate and all its works.

No Guinness would ever pass his lips, after he converted to the vastly superior Cork stout.
