Bank chief says sorry for ATM free cash glitch

BANK of Ireland boss Myles O'Grady has apologised for the computer blunder which led to its ATMs handing out free money during the week.
He said he was sorry for the disruption caused by the IT system glitch which led to chaotic scenes outside some of the bank's ATMs which involved garda intervention.
Mr O'Grady said the bank's failures fell well below the standards that its customers expect of it.
