Walking out at Magic Weekend 'incredible'

HULL KR rookie Noah Booth has recollected the “unbelievable” moment he made his try-scoring Super League debut.

The utility back, who was playing for part-timers Hunslet earlier this season, crossed in Rovers’ 54-0 Magic Weekend walloping of Salford.

Castleford-born Booth, who only joined from Wakefield on a four-year deal in January, was picked on the wing and conceded: “It was unbelievable. I think it’s the moment you dream for since the first time you pick up a rugby ball.

“I don’t think I've ever had a feeling like it, walking out there in front of all the fans. It’s even more special for such an incredible club and at Magic Weekend, too.”

With regular wingers Joe Burgess and Tom Davies both sidelined, Booth, 20, got the call from Willie Peters last Monday.
