FAMEWO MADE MOVE FROM STRICKEN CLUB
Akin Famewo's move to Hull City will have come as a hammer blow to stricken Championship side Sheffield Wednesday, according to pundit Lee Hendrie.
London-born defender Famewo turned down Wednesday's contract offer at the end of the season and sealed a move to their Yorkshire rivals City, who themselves have had their own issues with the EFL this summer.
The 26-year-old enjoyed a terrific start to last season with the Owls before a muscle injury ruled him out for a prolonged period of time, much to the dismay of those at Hillsborough.
