Thompson warning for Wigan title rivals

LUKE Thompson is making up for lost time as Wigan Warriors step up their bid for a three-peat.
The dynamic England prop faces Castleford tomorrow in only his second game back after a frustrating calf injury.
He returned to action in Friday's 18-4 win over St Helens and now hopes to help the champions secure second spot. Thompson, 30, featured in last year's Grand Final win after joining from Canterbury and hopes to guide Matt Peet's side to another on October 11.
But he admitted: "It felt great just to get back out there with the lads. I had a bit of a longer spell than I expected on the sidelines with that calf injury so I was just made up to get out there and get some minutes under my belt.
