Some of the roadworks happening in Hull that motorists should know about

THEY are frustrating for motorists, but necessary to keep our roads up to scratch and traffic flowing freely once the work is done.

There are long-term roadworks ongoing in and around the city, but there are also shorter term ones planned. Here is some of the ongoing and upcoming roadworks in the area.

A63 improvement scheme: Major A63 Improvement scheme - full infrastructure change. Lane and road closures until completion of scheme. Until Spring 2026.

Albert Avenue: Cable overlay (low voltage). Multi-way signals in place. Roseberry Street to Chatham Street. To June 23.

Beverley Road: Emergency permit for bus lane closure south of strand closure. Until June 9.
