ROAD improvements are due to be carried out in the Watton area.

East Riding of Yorkshire Council is to invest £570,000 in a scheme to improve Carr Lane, Watton, between the railway crossing and the junction with Cross Lane.
The work is scheduled to begin on Monday, July 28, be carried out during the daytime, and is expected to take up to seven weeks to complete.
