FIRM IS AIMING FOR SIGNIFICANT GROWTH IN THE COMING YEARS

A MAJOR Humber employer says it is set to create more jobs in the region as part of grand UK expansion plans.

Engineering and tech specialist Amentum has announced plans to create 3,000 jobs over the next four years at its bases across the UK, which include its manufacturing factory at Barton.

The US firm, which is listed on the New York Stock Exchange, already employs around 100 people at the Barton site. While it cannot confirm exact numbers, the company is aiming for significant growth in the coming years.
