Hull FC provide Ligi Sao injury update

HULL FC assistant coach Andy Last has provided a thorough injury update on long-term absentee Ligi Sao.

The prop forward is making good progress after suffering a serious knee injury back in February, with the 31-year-old back running as he continues a lengthy rehab process.

Sao was ruled out for the season after suffering the injury against Wigan back in February, with the club since signing Liam Knight as a replacement.

That effectively kills off any chance of a comeback for Sao this year, but nonetheless, Last has been impressed by the players conduct throughout the process.

“He's progressing really well,” Last told Hull Live. “He's out on the field and is out running again. It's great to see him back in and around the boys.
