Flying the flag for Humber Dock Street improvement works

HULL City Council has submitted an application for the installation of six flag poles as a part of the regeneration of Humber Dock Street.

The new flag poles would be installed following the removal of six flag poles that had, until recently, stood on the street. Submitted planning documents state that the poles will be white in colour with a “black spherical flag top to match flagpole recently implemented at Hull Maritime Museum.” In total the flag poles will be 12 metres in height, with 9.8 metres (32 ft) above ground.
