FC and KR post great attendances for Rhinos and Saints clashes

OVER 24,000 people watched rugby league in the city of Hull over the weekend, with both Hull FC and Hull KR recording strong numbers.

Both teams posted attendances of over 12,000, with 12,169 at Craven Park to see Hull KR's narrow 12-8 victory over St Helens on Friday night.
The win ensures the Robins could win the Super League League Leaders’ Shield against Hull FC this weekend, although they will need Saints to beat Wigan first.
