LUKE CAMPBELL REFUTES CLAIM HE MISSED OUT ON MILLIONS OF POUNDS OF FUNDING
A CLAIM that was being spread on social media that the Mayor of Hull and East Yorkshire missed out on £300m in government grants as he “sacked the admin team” has been unequivocally refuted.
On Saturday, July 12, a post made on X claimed that Luke Campbell had failed “his first big real test” by missing out on a huge sum in government grants. It claimed that this was because “he failed to complete the paperwork properly because he sacked the admin team”.
