Ellis reveals transformation after 'waking up' at Wigan

KAIDE Ellis is set for an ever-present season for Wigan Warriors, a far cry from the days of spending as much time on the sidelines.

The Australian prop is the sole ever-present in Matt Peet's first-team squad during 2025, featuring in every match this campaign.

However, Ellis's journey hasn't been entirely smooth sailing, having regularly getting suspended during the earlier stages of his Wigan career.

Upon his arrival, Ellis frequently found himself in hot water with the Rugby Football League's match review panel, though his discipline has improved markedly through sustained hard work, with that constructive approach helping establish him as one of Wigan's senior figures.

"It's something I actually thought quite a lot about after the 2023 season," Ellis reflected.

"Obviously, there is a line, and sometimes I crossed it in the wrong way.
