East Park main gates reopen

LIMITED SECTION IS NOW ACCESSIBLE TO VEHICLES
HULL City Council has announced the reopening of East Park gates.
The entrance on Holderness Road was closed to vehicles in 2020 due to Covid-19 social distancing restrictions.
According to the council, East Park now features additional parking spaces, including accessible spaces and a new footpath.
There are new signs and lines for a new road layout, with a one-way system, as well as added speed tables.
Only a limited section of the road within the park is accessible to vehicles. The council says this is to “ensure one of Hull’s most popular parks remains a safe and enjoyable place for all visitors”.
