Concerned Salford stars pulled out ahead of KR clash

A STRING of senior Salford Red Devils players pulled out of their defeat to Hull KR due to concerns about the club.

Salford were forced to draft in a player from outside the 21-man squad they named on Tuesday, losing an interchange in the process, after another chaotic day behind the scenes on Thursday.

Salford players were paid on Wednesday evening however, it is now alleged that the club has not been paying into their pensions, and that has sparked concern among players, some of whom ultimately decided that was the final straw.
