Colourful characters on the run raise £1,100 for Kids charity

A FUNDRAISING Colour Run and family event has been hailed as “amazing” and the Hull schoolgirls who organised it are now progressing plans for their next big occasion.

Lifestyle team No More Mehhs held the sponsored Colour Run on Saturday, August 2, during a wider family fun event at Springhead and Derringham Community Hub in the city. The girls - Macie, Ellie, Maria and Autumn, who are all aged 12 or 13 - are supporting local charity Kids with their efforts.

Macie's mum Becky said: "The Colour Run was an amazing event. On the day, 40-plus people turned up and collectively raised £1,100 towards the cause.
