EVENT TO HELP THE GOOD NEIGHBOUR PROJECT
ON SATURDAY night local singer and musician Adam Norrie is hosting a fundraising event being held at The Double Tree by Hilton on Ferensway in Hull.
The event will help raise much needed funds for the charity Eternal Benefits who are looking to raise £4,000 to help with the Good Neighbour Project.
The charity that is based at the Quadrant in North Hull has been operating as a registered charity for 24 years.
They are at the heart of a community that experiences deprivation, high unemployment and the social impacts of this with three major challenges of antisocial behaviour, a deepening sense of low aspiration and a lack of opportunity.
The night will also see the launch of Adam's book The Truth of it All a detailed, no holds barred and honest account of his personal experiences in addiction.
A roller coaster life journey that led him to the cusp of international fame in the music industry, while infamously sinking into the depths of the gutter.
Adam said: “There were many attempts on my life and as a survivor by Grace alone, it is important that I share this story.
“Revealing the way out by illustrating that no human power can restore or heal a person like Our Creator can.”
